Developer documentation.

What settings change, how they are backed up, how uninstall restores them, what commands exist, and how to inspect events.

!Developer beta docs are opening with the first Claude Code terminal build. Any commands shown during preview are labeled — the final installer may change.
01

Install WaitLayer

Create an account and install the CLI. The Claude Code terminal status line is the first supported surface.

02

Connect Claude Code

Connect WaitLayer to your Claude Code session via official integration points. No editor bundles are patched.

03

Check status

Inspect your client status, connected surface, and eligibility at any time.

04

View local event log

A local event ledger lets you see what WaitLayer recorded. Telemetry payloads are inspectable.

05

Pause sponsor lines

Disable sponsor rendering whenever you want; eligibility simply pauses.

06

Uninstall WaitLayer

Remove WaitLayer with one command. Any settings it modified are restored from backup.

07

Payout setup

Choose your payout rail. Some methods require identity, tax, sanctions, or compliance checks.

08

Sponsor creative guidelines

Every sponsor line is one labeled line for a developer-relevant product. See the guidelines.

09

Telemetry reference

A short, fixed allowlist describes the ad surface, not your work. Publishing the schema is planned.

10

Fraud policy

WaitLayer is for real developers doing real work. Farming, bots, and tampering are prohibited.
